Certificate Supplement

If you want to work or study abroad with a Dutch certificate of senior secondary vocational education (MBO) you can use one of the following services.

Europass Certificate Supplement 
The Europass Certificate Supplement is delivered to people who hold a vocational education and training certificate; it adds information to that which is already included in the official certificate, making it more easily understood, especially by employers or institutions outside the issuing country. On this website you can download (for free) the Europass Certificate Supplement for certificate issued after 1997. 

Certificate supplements for all qualifications at level 3 and 4 of senior secondary VET for the cohort 2009-2010 are now available for downloading.

Paid service certificate supplement
When the Europass Certificate Supplement concerning your education isn't in the list, you can contact the NRP for other options. One of these option is a service that you need to pay for. You will receive a Certificate Supplement with your name on it and some extra information compared to the standard Europass Certificate Supplement.

The certificate supplement provides a general description in English or Dutch of the content and background of your certificate. This information will give employers and educational institutes a clear picture of your training programme.
The certificate supplement does not pronounce upon the value that other countries will attach to the Dutch certificate. The certificate will be assessed in the country of your destination.
 
The costs of this service amount to € 114,00 per certificate. For more information or a request form you can contact the NRP. The request form and instruction are only available in Dutch and can be downloaded on this site.
